The use of artificial intelligence technologies in modern medicine is rapidly evolving, leading to significant changes in dental practice as well.
From November 20-22 this year, the Congress and Science Olympiad on the topic “Artificial Intelligence through the Eyes of Dental Students” was organized by the International Association of Dental Students of Kazakhstan and Astana Medical University. Among the participants from prestigious international higher education institutions were also the fifth-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry of Andijan State Medical Institute under the leadership of the head of the Department of Propadeutic Dentistry, Z. Khakимова.
During the Olympiad, teams from 11 international universities competed. The teams demonstrated their skills in various areas such as surgical, therapeutic, orthopedic, orthodontic dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.
It is gratifying that our institute’s students showed high levels of knowledge. In the field of surgical dentistry, I. Kobiljonov took first place, while in pediatric dentistry, L. Zakirova secured the top spot.
