Recently, a delegation from Andijan State Medical Institute headed by Rector M. Madazimov and vice rector for Scientific Affairs K. Salohiddinov undertook an official visit to the University of Malaya—one of the world’s most prestigious and top 84 higher education institutions.
The primary objective of this visit is to discuss the expansion of collaboration in the fields of education and scientific research.
During the visit, the delegation members met with the university administration, engaging in dialogue.


Throughout the meetings, the parties exchanged ideas, familiarized themselves with the Malaysian education system, conducted mutual presentations and shared academic and thematic plans.

As a result of the negotiations, the following outcomes were achieved:
1. Development of joint projects and scientific research related to the application of artificial intelligence in medicine.
2. Organization of a joint scientific-practical conference on modern medical issues in 2026, involving the Ministries of Health of Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
3. Co-publication of scientific articles in Malaya University’s Scopus-indexed journal and other reputable international journals.
4. Implementation of joint scientific investigations and innovative projects between the two institutions.
5. Participation of Malaya University students in the ADTI International Summer School, an initiative warmly welcomed by the university leadership.
6. Professional development and internships for ADTI faculty members in oncology, transplantology and dentistry.
7. Lectures by Malaya University professors for ADTI students and master’s students in contemporary medical fields.
8. Formal approval of all negotiated agreements as additions to the existing cooperation memorandum.
The negotiations were conducted in a highly professional and friendly atmosphere.
