Today, on October 11, a forum was held at Andijan State Medical Institute under the slogan “Your initiative – your future” in honor of International Girls’ Day.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the institute’s rector, M. Madazimov, who warmly congratulated all female students on the holiday.
“Today, our country is focusing on supporting the activity of girls and creating sufficient conditions for them at the state policy level. The girls of our institute have also been effectively utilizing these opportunities to achieve significant successes. The achievements of our female students bring me great joy and pride. May your faces always shine with happiness. I wish you great victories and success,” said the rector.
Following this, female students who actively participated in spiritual, educational and sports events organized by the Women’s Affairs Department within the framework of “Girls’ Week” were awarded by the rector with cash prizes equivalent to one basic scholarship. Teams that won the festive tournament of the intellectual game “Quiz” among girls received cash prizes: the first-place winners received double the basic scholarship, while the second and third-place winners received an amount equivalent to one basic scholarship.
M. Abduqahhorova, chairperson of the “Ladies” club and a second-year student of Dentistry Faculty, spoke on behalf of the girls, expressing sincere gratitude for the support provided to female students in every aspect at the Institute. In response, she expressed readiness to achieve great goals together with all the girls of the Institute through effort and determination.
Participants from the Youth Union’s primary organization performed songs and poetry in the artistic part of the event.
The national dress show presented by the girls of the Institute was received as a display of beauty and elegance. The unique harmony of atlas, adras and beqasam fabrics further enhanced the charm of the girls.
“Friends” team from “Cheerful and witty ” entertained participants with their heartfelt jokes inspired the mood of everyone present.
The lively songs performed by singers from the Andijan regional branch of the Uzbekistan State Philharmonic invited everyone to dance.
