Today, on March 27, a delegation led by Professor Sun Zhang Wen, Deputy Director of the Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited Andijan State Medical Institute.
The members of the delegation were met by the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov and the vice-rector for international relations F. Rasulov.
Nowadays, 2 joint Uzbek-Chinese laboratories have been established cooperatively: the Institute of Biorganic Chemistry named after O.S. Sodikov and the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances named after S.Yu. Yunusov. This laboratories specialize in the extraction of bioactive substances from medicinal plants.
For information, the Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Acadey of Sciences is located in Urumchi, Xinjiang. Supported by “Kamar va yoʻl” Initiative, a national joint laboratory has been established between China and Uzbekistan for the development of new drugs.
In this regard, the cooperation between Andijan State Medical Institute and Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will not only strengthen further the quality of education, expand the scope of practice, but also serve to implement joint projects. During today’s negotiations, both sides also have held talks on the implementation of new joint projects.
After the talks, the delegation members got acquainted with the activities of the Institute. They witnessed the students receiving high-quality education in the Simulation Center, harmoniously conducting theory and practice.
