In order to provide quality medical services to our people, to study and solve their problems on the spot, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan launched a program to improve the health of the population and a health campaign is being carried out under the slogan “Reforms in Medicine for Humans”. Among the leading specialists of our republic, the team of Andijan State Medical Institute is participating in it.
Such a health promotion was held in the city of Khanabad. 24 of our specialists, headed by the rector of our institute M. Madazimov, provided medical services to the population. The goal was to conduct a comprehensive medical examination of patients in the most remote regions of our country, to give them the necessary advice and recommendations.
As part of the campaign, different kinds of specialists examined, diagnosed patients and gave the necessary recommendations. In particular, during the examinations, the latest technological medical devices were also introduced – UTT, ECG, ECHO, fluorography, mammography, laboratory tests, a mobile ophthalmologist service, which made our citizens who need these examinations even more happy.
As part of the action, a visiting reception was held by the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Sabirov. The appeals of the Khanabad residents were heard and resolved on the spot. Citizens in need of medical care and inpatient treatment were assigned specialists and issued referrals for treatment to republican and regional medical institutions. Appeals of citizens in need of hearing aids and wheelchairs were satisfied on the spot.
