Today, on March 14, a scientific-practical conference “Diseases of the organs of vision and hearing in children born with Down syndrome “has been held in Andijan State Medical Institute with the participation of foreign experts.
Before the beginning of the conference M. Madazimov, the rector of the Institute, met with Niki Hafezi, the founder of the “Lite for side” foundation in Switzerland, the head of the MESCA Foundation-National Eye Institute in Tashkent as well as with Nargiza Karimova, Ph.D., the head of “Magic ear academy”. During the meeting, the parties discussed the work to be carried out in cooperation. The guests got acquainted with a video that provides detailed information about our Institute. After that a memorandum of cooperation was signed between MESCA Foundation-National Eye Institute in Tashkent and Andijan State Medical Institute.
According to this memorandum the issues of the exchange of knowledge and skills between the parties, creating an experience area for doctors and students working in this field, conducting scientific researches and researches in cooperation as well as applying them on a global scale were included.
At the end of the conference guests of the event were presented souvenirs.
