Today, on May 16, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, received Anthony Jarvis, the academic director of Webster University in the United States, and R. Rahmonov, the executive director of Webster University Tashkent branch.
During the meeting, proposals were made to strengthen cooperation among the three higher education institutions, improve the quality of education, further develop foreign language instruction, establish student and specialist exchange programs, and most importantly, to open a joint education program in the field of “Nursing” between Webster University and Andijan State Medical Institute. Agreements were approved, and a contract was signed to launch the “Nursing” program at the bachelor’s level for a duration of four years starting from the new academic year of 2025-2026.
At the end of the meeting, all three parties agreed to further expand this cooperation and to hold such meetings more frequently during the educational process.
