At a video conference which was held on April 13, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan noted a number of tasks for organizing cultural centers near each higher educational institution, where young people from nearby citizens’ gatherings will be attracted. In order to increase the social activity of young people, their vocational guidance, the promotion of spirituality and enlightenment, Andijan State Medical Institute has organized various study and sports circles for young people from the mahallas of Kusharik, Yakhshi, Kutanarik, Gumbaz, Namuna, Shifokor, Bunyodkor, Sanoat, Yangi turmush. Today the festival has brought together the youth.
In total, 45983 citizens live in makhallas, of which 9072 are young people. 260 of them are listed in Yoshlar daftari. To date, 228 citizens attend sports clubs, 107 – amateur art circles, 150 – classes in the Russian language, 136 – classes in English, 240 – in computer technology, 98 – classes in chemistry and biology.
The result of this work was the “Youth Festival”, first organized at Andijan State Medical Institute.
The rector of the institute M.M. Madazimov and the pro-rector on work with youth M. Botirov spoke at the festival about the fruitful cooperation between the institute and the makhalla, the creation of the necessary conditions for teaching young people in various specialties.
In addition, the honored artist of Uzbekistan Yakhyobek Muminov, pop performer Gairat Usmonov, actor of the Mukimi theater Muzaffar Khamidov, as well as members of Andijan department of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan performed.
