A NEW STAGE IN YOUTH POLICY: MORE ATTENTION TO GRADUATES
Yesterday, the head of our country held a meeting with young people at his residence in Koksaroy. This dialogue was quite significant with important initiatives and decisions aimed at supporting the initiatives of young people, further expanding their entrepreneurial, educational and innovative activities.
In particular, great responsibility was imposed to us, the heads of educational institutions, connected with the tasks set for the higher education system, graduate employment, orientation of young people to the profession and involvement in entrepreneurship. The team of our Institute fully supports the established priority areas. Special attention is paid not only to training young specialists as qualified personnel, but also to providing them with decent jobs.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, 1822 young specialists will graduate from our Institute. To date, 872 of them, or 48%, have been placed in jobs in their permanent residence areas. This figure is planned to be increased further by the end of this year.
The ideas expressed by the President on supporting youth entrepreneurship, providing preferential loans, implementing programs such as “Future Entrepreneur”, “My First Profession” are opening the door to new opportunities for higher education institutions. In particular, measures such as the payment of a monthly scholarship during the internship, allowing investments in innovative startups and encouraging graduates to start their own businesses create the basis for independent activity of young specialists.
Based on the above-mentioned, certain work is being carried out at our Institute within the framework of “Step into the Future” program. Currently, 62 graduates and senior students have launched their entrepreneurial activities. A total of 3 billion 685 million soums of preferential loans have been allocated to them. As a result, 90 new jobs have been created.
These figures confirm the high level of initiative, knowledge and potential of our youth. In particular, projects organized by young people in the field of medicine, such as private clinics, diagnostic centers, laboratory services, serve to improve the quality of medical services provided to the population.
The initiative to introduce “Youth Day” every Thursday in our republic has also begun a new stage in the life of educational institutions. In this regard, meetings with young people are regularly organized. During open dialogues, students have the opportunity to convey directly their issues of interest, scientific research, startup ideas and proposals for improving the quality of education to the leadership. This ensures openness and transparency in working with young people.
A number of spiritual, educational and sports events are also held within the framework of “Youth Day”. Sports competitions are organized among students, campaigns are held aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle. Increasing the scientific and pedagogical potential of young teachers and expanding their participation in international projects is always staying in focus.
Students’ scientific developments and innovative ideas were supported, mechanisms for their implementation into practice were determined during the meetings with talented youth. The activities of scientific societies, startup groups and the Council of Young Scientists at our Institute were further revitalized.
