On the occasion of October 11, the International Day of Girls, a festive tournament on the intellectual game “Zakovat” was organized among female students of Andijan State Medical Institute.
In the festive tournament, which was held jointly by the Women’s Council of the Institute, the Youth Union, the primary organization of the Institute and the intellectual club “Zakovat”, 10 teams of female students of the Institute and students of the Academic Lyceum competed.
At the opening of the event, the Chairman of the Women’s Advisory Council of the Institute G.A. Kholmatova spoke, congratulated all the girls on the “International Day of Girls” and wished all participants good luck in the upcoming game.
The game was led by the coordinator of the intellectual club “Zakovat” of the Institute, Sh. Abdurakhmanov. Based on the results of intense competition, the teams “Dominant” of the Faculty of General Medicine and “Pharmakon” of the Faculty of Pharmacy scored the same number of points. Additional questions were played between these teams, as a result of which the “Dominant” team of the Faculty of General Medicine became the absolute winner of the festive tournament of all-knowing female students and received a cash prize in the amount of 1,000,000 (One million) soums. The “Pharmakon” team of the Faculty of Pharmacy took the 2nd place and received a cash prize of 500,000 (five hundred thousand) soums. The winners and runners-up will be solemnly awarded by the rector of the institute at a large festive event organized in connection with the International Day of Girls.
