Today, September 6, “Knowledgeable Girl – Pride of the Nation” round table discussion was organized by the Women’s Department of Andijan State Medical Institute for female students admitted to the 1st course.
The event was attended by G. Kholmatova, advisor on Women’s Issues to the Institute’s Rector; U. Zokirova, Psychologist working with women; M. Umarxo‘jayeva, an owner of the Presidential Scholarship and active member of the “Qizlarjon” club as well as faculty officials.
Opening the round table, G. Kholmatova spoke about the extensive opportunities created for women in our country, the clubs established at the Institute and the conditions available for personal development. She also emphasized the importance of adhering to ethical norms and dress code within the Institute.
M. Umarxo‘jayeva, an owner of the Presidential Scholarship, shared inspiring words about her achievements, the efforts she has put in and the role of the support from tutors, motivating the female students.
During the discussion female students asked questions that interested them, an open dialogue took place to exchange ideas.
