On April 26, thousands of our compatriots, including 150 teachers and students of Andijan State Medical Institute, visited the village of Qovunchi in Marhamat district where Muhammad Yusuf was born and grew up.
The institute team visited Muhammad Yusuf’s memory complex and laid flowers to the poet’s monument and recited the Qur’an.
Then they visited the house where the poet lived and watched the house museum.
They remembered some moments of Muhammad Yusuf’s life. Also, they visited the school where the poet studied and acquainted with the poet’s school period. They enjoyed the poet’s heartbreaking poems and the songs written on the poet’s poems.
