An extended meeting of the Republican Special Commission was held to coordinate the measures taken to ensure the stability of the epidemiological situation with coronavirus infection in the country.

The epidemiological situation in the country was analyzed by regions. In order to prevent the spread of the disease, tasks have been set to increase the responsibility of citizens for compliance with quarantine regulations.

According to the meeting, the World Health Organization and international experts believe that the fight against coronavirus and the prevention of new waves can be successfully organized through mass vaccination. In this regard, the practice of compulsory coronavirus vaccination has recently become widespread around the world.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Population”, the Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the Republic of Uzbekistan has an official authority to take appropriate sanitary-hygienic and anti-epidemic measures in case of emergence and spread of infectious and parasitic diseases.

Article 30 of this law also includes the provision of preventive vaccinations in the set of sanitary and hygienic measures and anti-epidemic measures.
