Today, on October 10, rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov got acquainted with the construction and repair works being carried out in the 2000-seats educational building of the institute, the buildings of the Central Research Laboratory, ADTI clinic and the 400-bed students’ hostel.
According to the Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-5154 of 2021 and the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 713 of November 25, 2021, it was planned to build an 800-bed educational laboratory building and the Central Research Laboratory buildings of Andijan State Medical Institute.
Due to the sudden increase in the number of students in the institute, a new educational building with 2000 seats was built. Currently, the building has been fully upgraded, interior decoration and communication and equipment work are being carried out. A 7-meter statue of Abu Ali ibn Sina, a great scientist and medical expert, is located in front of the educational building.
Also, in the building of Central Research Laboratory interior finishing works, electrical installation, plumbing, exterior facade finishing works, installation of doors and frames, construction of external auxiliary buildings and structures are continuing at a rapid pace.
According to the decision No. 563 of September 9, 2021 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to increase the level of accommodation for students in the higher education institutions of the Republic” on the basis of public-private partnership, the construction of students’ hostel has also begun. “Student House” with 400 beds has been completed, and another 400-bed student residence is under construction.
At the same time, on November 26, 2021, in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to radically improve the activities of Andijan State Medical Institute and its clinic”, the renovation of the clinic of the institute began. Currently the building is being repaired, finished and equipped.
While the construction work was being monitored by the rector, necessary tasks were defined in connection with the acceleration of construction and repair works and elimination of existing disadvantages.
