HISTORY AND ACTIVITY OF THE DEPARTMENT

From 2019 to this day, Sh. Ya. Bustanov has been working as the head of the department for the organization of scientific and research activities of gifted students. Our  Institute has carried out remarkable work in the direction of young scientists and talented students up to this days. The “Council of Young Scientists” organization acts in the institute. The council selects candidates for the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Scholarship named after Ibn Sina, Islam Karimov and scholarships established by public organizationsas. Subjects Olympiads, conferences of young scientists, special school for training students were established.

The department of organization of scientific and research works of talented students is included into the structure of Andijan State Medical Institute. The main goal of the department is to search for talented students, their purposeful training, development of the scientific and creative potential of the institute, increasing the abilities and high talent in the relevant fields of knowledge and specific directions of science creating opportunities to demonstrate their skills. Great work is being carried out to connect talented students to the leading professors and teachers of the institute in order to direct students to scientific activity as well as to organize activities of students’ scientific societies to focus on innovative and creative actions.

The main tasks of working with talented students as well as organizing their research activities are as follows:

-iqtidorli talabalarni izlash va aniqlashni tashkil etish;
– organization of search and identification of talented students;
– identifying the intellectual potential of talented students;
-organization of targeted training of talented students depending on their ability and attractions;
– organization of special training for talented students on the history of Uzbekistan, foreign languages, information technology and Internet usage;
– attracting talented students to fundamental scientific research, scientific societies and creative teams;
– organizing the participation of talented students in scientific and practical institute, national and international conferences, symposiums, Olympiads, contests and competitions;
– to prepare candidates for the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and named State Scholarships, Science Olympiads among talented students, and to achieve their prize-winning;
– material and moral support of highly talented students and their leaders;
– organizing roundtable discussions of talented students with representatives of science, heads of institutes, experienced professors and teachers;
– organization of professional games and competitions for talented students;
– providing talented students with additional literature and other resources in the chosen field and teaching how to use them;
– organization of development of special in-depth educational programs for gifted students and education based on them;

All vice-rectors, faculty deans, heads of departments, heads of educational departments and tutors are responsible for the effective implementation of the above-mentioned tasks.
