As previously reported, an online international conference on ” Topical issues of colon surgery ” is being held today. It is attended by leading speakers- surgeons of abdominal surgery from Russia, Ukraine and our country.
First, the conference was opened by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations of our institute G. Khojimatov. Then, S. Baydo from Ukrain made a lecture on“Laparoscopy in colorectal surgery”, A. Petrov from Russia on “Features of performing right-sided hemicolectomy with D3 lymphadenectomy”, O. Ospanov from Kazakhstan on “Standardization of laparoscopic surgery for rectal cancer”, S. Navrozov from Tashkent delivered a lecture on “Colon polyposis is an urgent problem of modern medicine”, I. Abbos from the USA on“Laparoscopic approach for a perforated cecal diverticulitis in a morbid obese patient”, A. Kumar from India on “MRI for Ca rectum – from surgeons angle”, A. Ro’ziyev from Bukhara on “Lymphotropic therapy in the complex of treatment of UC in the postoperative period ” and Yu. Egamov from our institute made a report on “10 years of experience in treating colon diseases in Fergana Valley”.
Specialists exchanged views on abdominal surgery. The conference will continue tomorrow.
