The scientific and practical online conference on the topic “Modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy” with the participation of foreign scientists, held at Andijan State Medical Institute, was devoted to the problems of prevention and treatment of diabetes.
The scientific and practical conference was organized by the Department of Ophthalmology of the Institute, the course of ophthalmology of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Doctors, as well as the departments of hospital therapy and endocrinology.
Employees of the departments of ophthalmology, hospital therapy and endocrinology, as well as cadets of the faculty of advanced training and retraining of doctors, doctoral students, independent researchers, graduate students and clinical residents took part in the scientific and practical conference, which was chaired by the vice-rector for scientific work and innovations of ASMI G.Khodjimatov.
Director of the specialized center for eye microsurgery A.F.Yusupov, chairman of the “Society of Ophthalmologists” of Andijan region Sh.R. Kodirov and the head of the St. Petersburg Diabetological Center of the Russian Federation Fedor Evgenievich Shadrichev made reports at the conference.
Head of the Department of Ophthalmology A.F. Ikramov, Head of the Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology Sh.K. Yusupova, Head of the Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Training of Scientific Pedagogical Personnel N.G. Mamatkhodjaeva and other specialists expressed their opinions on the reports.
