In order to overcome the effects of pandemic, first of all, the knowledge of medical staff must be perfect. For this purpose, 9,651 medical workers from Fergana, Andijan and Namangan regions were involved in advanced training courses organized at Andijan State Medical Institute.
– Methods of treatment of patients with coronavirus were taught in advanced training and retraining courses organized in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 29, 2020 “On the establishment of a Special Commission to prepare a program of measures to prevent the introduction and spread of new types of coronavirus in the Republic of Uzbekistan” and the Order of the Minister of Health dated March 22, 2020 “On training of reserve specialists for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection”,- said the rector of the institute Madaminjon Madazimov.
– Physicians, who have completed advanced training courses also provided online training for 274 physicians. Our goal is that all physicians should master all the information on coronavirus immediately and know the treatment measures perfectly. Retraining courses are ongoing. Currently, another 200 medical workers are actively participating in the advanced training courses.
