Adequate textbooks in sufficient quantity not only improve the quality of education, but also increase student’s desire to learn. 4,686 students study at the Andijan, Pakhtaabad, Boston, Kurgantepa public health technical schools named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino of Andijan region attached to Andijan State Medical Institute and Namangan public health technical school in Namangan region. The information resource center of these technical schools has 12,508 textbooks. Due to the lack of textbooks in 4-5 disciplines in these educational institutions, the IRC of Andijan State Medical Institute provided 326 textbooks in 179 titles.
