Today, on March 15, “Consilium” was held in Andijan State Medical Institute. An international conference will be held on the theme of comorbid conditions and aspects of insulin therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes: from theory to practical solutions.
The meeting took place with the participation of Professor Galstyan Gagik Radikovich, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Deputy Director of Medical Research Center of Endocrinology of Russian Federation, Head of the Diabetic Ankle Department, Demidov Nikolay Aleksandrovich, candidate of Medical Sciences who were invited to the conference by the Institute’s Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology as speakers from the Department of Endocrinology, Andijan State Medical Institute Rector M. Madazimov, Vice-Rector of Scientific Affairs and Innovations K. Salohiddinov, Head of International Cooperation Department F. Rasulov, Head of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology Department Sh. Yusupova.
At the meeting, a video about the institute was presented in order to introduce the guests to Andijan State Medical Institute, international cooperation in updated condition was discussed.
In turn, the guests expressed their views on the speed of global spread of type 2 diabetes, informed the students and colleagues with modern methods of its prevention and established mutual cooperation. Within the framework of the visit, the partners signed a memorandum of cooperation. Plans for improving qualifications of the professors of the Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology in Russian Federation as well as conducting joint scientific research and implementing grant projects have been composed.
