During the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev to Andijan, he spoke about the development of medicine and medical education and put forward several initiatives. Based on the recommendation of the head of our state, “Transformation of the healthcare system and medical education” measures are being held in Andijan region.
On June 16 of this year, under the leadership of A. Inoyatov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a medical convoy consisting of 16 groups of experienced specialists of the republic’s medical centers, professors and scientists of Andijan State Medical Institute and qualified specialists of the regional medical institutions went to all regions of Andijan province.
Representatives of the population were examined in the central medical complexes of cities and districts. Doctors visit the homes of elderly, disabled and low-income citizens who cannot go to medical examinations, get information about their medical conditions and give them necessary recommendations.
