I sincerely congratulate you on the holiday of awakening and renewal – Navruz. Our people celebrate this day as a national holiday and renewal of nature.
Navruz is an ancient, national holiday of the Uzbek people. There is a lot of historical data about the origin of Navruz. Despite different views, the origin of the holiday is scientifically substantiated and natural laws are taken into account.
Navruz means “new day”. Therefore, it seems that Navruz can be considered as the birthday of spring.
The trees are covered with white flowers, like a bride, green grass sprouts and sways from the breath of the wind.
In Navruz, it is customary to plant trees, flowers, clean houses and streets, visit loved ones and the sick, go to the cemetery.
The main dish of the holiday is sumalak. Green dishes are served to dastarkhan.
And our girls are beautiful in elegant national dresses, skullcaps.
Brave guys compete in wrestling and ulak. The people perform lancers and lapars. Everyone’s heart becomes warm and joyful. Our grandfathers and grandmothers read prayers, wish fertility and rich harvest.
