An international scientific and practical conference on the theme “Innovative Approach to the Treatment of Urological Diseases” is being held in Andijan State Medical Institute.
Before the conference the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute professor M.M. Madazimov organized a meeting with foreign experts. There was a discussion about further expansion of cooperation in the field of urology. During the meeting the rector of the institute presented the souvenirs to the guests.
International scientific-practical conference was opened by the rector of the Institute professor M.M. Madazimov with his introduction speech. Then the governor of Andijan region Sh. Abdurakhmonov made congratulatory speech addressed to the participants of the conference. Wolfgang Shareck, rector of the University of Rostock, Germany and Kornelia Becker, Director of the Health Program of GIZ addressed the audience in online format.
During the conference professors and experts in Urology from Russia, Germany, India and our republic participated online delivering lectures to the audience. More than 20 national and international experts have been participated in the conference with their lectures in online and offline format.
Thus, it was planned to perform about 10 high-tech operations by foreign specialists within the framework of the conference. It was reported that on March 23 high-tech operations, endourological and loparascopic examinations were performed by Russian professors Sergey Alexandrovich Pulbere and Oleg Olegovich Burlaka in Urology Department of Andijan State Medical Institute.
As a result, our citizens S.Usmanov and O.Hamroyev have been undergone the operations and cured by qualified specialists in our region without going to foreign countries. Specialists said that post-operative condition of these patients was satisfactory.
Lectures and workshops within the framework of the conference will be continueed on March 25.
