On June 10-11, 2022 a delegation of professors and teachers of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Andijan State Medical Institute took part in the international forum “New technologies in pediatric anesthesiology – resuscitation and intensive care” organized with the support of the Ministry of Health by the National Children’s Medical Center, Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, Association of Anesthesiologists and Resuscitators of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Representatives from more than 10 countries, including Norway, Finland, South Korea, Georgia, Turkey, Belarus and the Russian Federation, delivered presentations on the use of modern methods in pediatric anesthesiology and intensive care.
The delegation of Andijan State Medical Institute presented its proposals for further cooperation to the President of the World Federation of Anesthesiologists and Resuscitators Jannicke Mellin – Olsena (Norway) and presented gifts on behalf of the institute.
On the second day of the conference, the head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Sh.Tashbaev participated in the competition of young scientists and students as a member of the jury.
A.Azimov, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, made a presentation on “Prevention of emergencies in children through master classes and improving medical culture among the population” in the “Student Competition” and won the first place among 11 participants.
D.Abdurahmanova, Assistant of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, participated in the competition “Young Scientists” with a presentation on “The role of simulation education in the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills by students” and took the third place among 12 participants. The winners were awarded with diplomas and certificates.
