Andijan State Medical Institute

The Department of Out-patient Pediatrics was organized in 2016 on the basis of the 7-Family Clinic due to the order of the Ministry of Health of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Currently, the department’s base is located in Andijan Regional Children’s Multidisciplinary Center and in the 1-st Family Clinic of the city of Andijan and has been renamed to “Propaedeutics of Childhood Diseases and Out-patient Pediatrics.”
In 1990, Associate Professor Ganiev A.G. defended his PhD thesis “Functional disorders of the thyroid gland against the background of allergic diathesis” in Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
In 1995, Associate Professor Arifkhodjaev defended his PhD thesis “Immunological characteristics of bronchopneumonia in children with thyroid dysfunction against the background of allergic diathesis with thymomegaly” in Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
In 2018, Associate Professor Kasymova G.Z. defended her PhD thesis “The influence of endothelial dysfunction on oxidative processes in the liver and kidneys during the development of metabolic syndrome and ways of correction” in Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
