On June 23 of this year, a health event on the topic “A healthy child from a healthy mother – the foundation of our future” was held at the “Shifokor” children’s health center located in Nayman neighborhood, Bulakbashi district organized by the specialists of Andijan regional health department and professors and teachers of the department of Training Family Doctors of Andijan State Medical Institute.
At the event, the residents of the neighborhood were informed about the basics of a healthy lifestyle, healthy diet and diet in certain diseases. Speaking during the event, Professor Z. Salohiddinov emphasized that the region has all the necessary opportunities to develop medicine and improve the quality of medical education.
In addition, a comprehensive medical examination was organized in the district in order to study and prevent other common diseases among mothers and children, as well as their risk factors, and to provide free medical care to the population in need of social protection. Those who came to the examination were examined in the ECG, UTT, Mammography, X-ray machine.
Low-income patients in need of financial assistance were provided with free wheelchairs with the help of the district administration.
Reminders and booklets were distributed about the consumption of dietary food in patients with ischemic heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal diseases. In the cultural part of the event, the performances of dancing girls, young athletes, videos on mother-in-law relationship, family problems, attention and respect to parents were shown.
