TRAINING
HISTORY AND ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENDOUROROLOGY, NEPHROLOGY-HEMODIALYSIS AND DENTISTRY.
On October 10, 2019, on the basis of the clinic of the Andijan State Medical Institute, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the German International Organization, organized the Endourology training center on the basis of the project “Improving the qualifications of Uzbek specialists working on modern medical highly specialized technology”. On December 16, 2019, by order of the rector of ASMI No. 343-T, the course “Endourology” was introduced at the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education and Training as part of the Department of Surgery.
On January 13, 2020, by order of the rector of ASMI No. 661-T, the Department of Endourology, Endosurgery, Urology, Ophthalmology and Dentistry was organized at the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education and Training. Head of the Department Ph.D., Associate Professor Shadmanov M.A.
The educational base of the department is located on the basis of the clinic of the Andijan State Medical Institute. In particular, the educational direction “Endourology” is located in the department of “Endourology and endosurgery”.
Currently, the department is equipped with modern educational and methodological equipment, lecture rooms, simulation room, where there are endourological, endosurgical box simulators, organocomplex endovideosurgical simulators for practical skills, LED TVs 55 and 32 diagonal, video projectors, etc.
The lecture hall is connected to the department of laparoscopic surgery via telemedicine. That will allow cadets to observe the operation and ask questions to operators remotely. According to the educational and production plan of the department, the following operations are performed: TUR of prostate adenoma, transureteral ureterolithotripsy, ureterolithoextraction, PCNL, endosurgical intervention for acute appendicitis, endosurgical intervention for complications in laparoscopic surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy in urgent conditions in surgery, etc. as well as organized cycles of improvement on the topic “Actual issues of endourology”. From November 1, 2020, a 720-hour specialization course in “Endourology” and “Endosurgery” was organized.
DENTISTRY COURSE
The educational and clinical base of the course of dentistry is located in the ASMI clinic, in particular in the outpatient department, where specialists can improve their qualifications and / or specialize. The educational and clinical base of dentistry has separate examination rooms, a lecture hall with multimedia, its own library, simulation rooms with models and the necessary educational tools for practical skills.
