Within the framework of the program of Ministry of Healthcare “Equipping clinics of medical higher educational institutions and republican clinical hospitals with modern medical equipment”, an angiography apparatus was delivered to Andijan State Medical Institute. For the effective use of this device in the treatment of patients, doctors – residents of the 2 – surgical department of the clinic of ASMI Sh.Mansurov and G. Saliev under the leadership of the head of the department, Ph.D. A. Turgunov underwent advanced training in the clinical hospital named after professor Ochapovskiy of Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
According to the initiative of Andijan regional khokimiyat from March 2021, the construction of an angiographic laboratory at the Department of General Surgery and 2nd Surgical Department was began, which was commissioned in September. Work was organized to provide qualified innovative medical care to the population of the Fergana Valley with coronary heart disease, congenital and acquired heart diseases, and cardiac arrhythmias.
In September, 3 operations were performed to implant cardiac pacemakers. It is worth noting with great pride that for the first time a coronary examination was successfully carried out in the clinic. The patient was recommended to continue with coronary artery stenting.
