As you know, the German surgeon Axel Heidenreich performed complex operations on patients with specialists from our region. Today, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M.Madazimov held a meeting on cooperation with him.
It was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation K. Salohiddinov and staff of the Department of Oncology and Medical Radiology.
During the meeting, Axel Heidenreich noted that two specialists of our institute are defending their dissertations and wished further cooperation in this field. It was also agreed to further strengthen the exchange of specialists and students on the basis of academic mobility, to work with Kyoli University Hospital in the training of qualified personnel in the field of Urology.
After the meeting, the experienced surgeon gave a lecture to professors, teachers and students on “Diagnosis and treatment of bladder tumors”. In his lecture, the specialist shared his knowledge and experience on the use of innovative methods in the treatment of this disease in Germany, the correct diagnosis, the success of surgical interventions.
