Andijan State Medical Institute hosted a round table discussion on the prevention of drug addiction among young people. F. Sharobiddinov, head of the department for coordinating the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Andijan, the department of criminal investigation and combating drug trafficking, Major Kakhkharov I., Senior Inspector for Crime Prevention of the Group No. 4 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kh. Makhmudov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and teachers took part in the event.
During the conversation, the students were told that drugs, their use and trafficking can lead to various crimes, including those against human health, and it is inevitable that everyone involved in this harmful evil will be held accountable before the law. Slides and real life examples prepared by experts aim to raise awareness among young people. Students also commented on the topic.
