A meeting of the officials and staff was held in the hall of scientific councils. It was attended by the rector of the institute M. Madazimov, vice-rectors, deans and their deputies, tutors and the head of the anti-corruption department.
At the beginning of the meeting, the rector of the institute noted the significance of the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held on October 24 this year, where the staff and students should actively participate.
The repeated coronavirus pandemic in foreign countries was the second item on the agenda. The rector of the institute stressed the need to wear medical masks in public places, especially in the building of the institute, and to strictly follow the rules of hygiene.
There was also a video conference of the Minister of Higher Education on October 15, 2021 “On measures to prevent corruption and crime in higher education.” The head of the institute and the head of the anti-corruption department emphasized the need to control the free time of students, communicate more with students who miss classes, prevent corruption in the institution, and in this case, bribe-takers and intermediaries are equally responsible before the law.
