On September 22-23, 2021 in Khanabad city in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, ASMI and Tashkent Medical Academy there was held an online and offline international scientific and practical conference on “Topical issues of infectious diseases, epidemiology, microbiology and medical parasitology” with the participation of foreign scientists.
The plenary session was opened by the First Deputy Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan L.Tuychiev. Then the Minister of Health A.Khodjibaev, the khokim of the region Sh.Abdurahmanov, the rector of ASMI M.Madazimov, the rector of TMA A.Shadmanov made congratulatory speeches.
During the plenary session, one of the Russian scientists, Academician Yu.Lobzin made a report on “Concomitant pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome with coronavirus infection: unresolved issues”. He also spoke about the characteristics of the course of caronavirus infection in young children and the current problems in the field of pediatrics.
Professor T.Rujentsova, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Epidemiology in Russia named after Gabrichevsky, shared her views on “Approaches to outpatient treatment of coronavirus disease” and spoke on the study of changes in the course of coronavirus infection, topical issues of treatment tactics when the disease is accompanied by influenza infection, guidelines for vaccination against the virus, approaches to the treatment of coronavirus infection in an outpatient setting. The reports in this direction aroused great interest and discussion among the participants of the scientific-practical conference.
Professors V.Nikiforov and D.Lioznov also made reports on coronavirus infection.
In addition, Uzbek and foreign scientists made presentations on liver diseases, parasitic diseases and intestinal infections.
The second day of the conference continued in 5 directions in separate sections:
It studied current issues of infectious diseases, epidemiology, laboratory diagnostics and parasitology, current problems of COVID-19, problems of HIV infection, as well as a competition for the best report of young scientists was held.
Another special thing about the conference was that pharmacotherapy, which is one of the most complex parts of medicine, was promoted and there was a demonstration of widespread achievements in this area.
In addition, the conference focused on “Carrying out joint research to solve the problems of gastroenterology and hepatology”, “Strengthening measures to develop hepatology and virology in Uzbekistan”, “Expanding research in environmental medicine”, “Practical application of pharmacoepidemiological research”, “Development and implementation of modern and effective drugs from local raw materials” and” Development and implementation of new interactive learning technologies in the educational process. ”
