It is known that in the expanded meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held on January 12, 2021 under the chairmanship of the President of the country, it was said about the prevention of the spread of ideas of extremism among students of higher educational institutions and the development of various activities in order to attract young people to education, science, and professions.
In order to ensure the implementation of the order of Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 16, 2021 on attracting young people to useful activities and monitoring the behavior of their free time, a seminar was held in the hostel of Andijan State Medical Institute under the slogan “Education against obscurantism”.
The event was opened by the pro-rector on Work with youth Mirzokhid Botirov and spoke about human spirituality, morality, behavior, conditions for students. In addition, he acquainted the participants of the seminar with the guests.
The mudarris madrasah of Sayyid Mukhiddin Makhdum Mukhammadali Hayitboev also spoke. In his speech, he explained to the students the ideas of Islam and warned them against the ideas of extremism and terrorism. The next speaker was Sarvarbek Khakimov, head of the department for combating terrorism and extremism of the regional police department. He talked about the reforms being carried out in our country against religious extremism and terrorism, and also talked about young people who were under the influence of negative vices and ruining their future.
At the end of the event, the students asked the specialists with questions and received the necessary answers.
