At the initiative of the regional administration and the Health Department, 118 vacancies were identified in the region, and the graduates of Andijan State Medical Institute were fully employed as family doctors. The rest of the students were attached to the polyclinics located in the residential areas. Currently, the students are working as real doctors while they are practicing.
By the decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a “Career Center” was established in each higher education institution, which connects students and employers. The staff of Andijan State Medical Institute is studying the activities of graduate students working and practicing in cities and districts. Such a study was conducted in Marhamat district.
Although the students had been working for two weeks, they were able to find their place in the team. Young people who apply their knowledge in practice are active in communicating with patients, diagnosing, registering and referring them to treatment. In this regard, the staff of the polyclinic does not spare its help for teachers and students.
In particular, the students study family conditions in the apartments attached to them.
