In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On social support of the elderly and people with disabilities, further development of the system of boarding schools” in Sahovat “and” Muruvvat ” Andijan State Medical Institute conducted an in-depth medical examination at the boarding school.
For information, the boarding house is currently home to 98 elderly people. They are served by 9 doctors, 23 nurses and 28 junior medical staff. The elder people undergo an in-depth medical examination twice a year. This time their health was checked by 16 specialists of the institute. They were given the necessary advice and counseling by doctors on the issues that bothered them. Ultrasound, ECG and laboratory tests were also performed.
After the medical examination, activists of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan organized an entertainment concert as part of the “Youth Month”. Our grandparents enjoyed the youthful songs and dances. Poems were recited by poetry enthusiasts. The Young Volunteers shared handouts on healthy eating.
