Our people have wonderful customs and traditions. Among them, the love of our compatriots for book reading stands out. It is fact that the book is a source of contemplation, ease of the heart and also real collocuter. There will never be badness in the hearts that are in love with the book. Today, in cooperation with the women’s Advisory Council of the Institute, The Information Resource Center and the Department of the Andijan region of the Republican Center for spirituality and enlightenment, an event was held on the theme “book reading in the image of a woman” dedicated to one of the most pressing issues of the day.
In the event , the rector’s advisor on women’s issues, chairman of the women’s Advisory Council G. Kholmatova, head of the Andijan region Department of the Republican Center for spirituality and enlightenment Z.Toshtemirova and educators, group tutors took part.
Those who spoke at the event mentioned the role of the book in human life, the constant striving for perfection, the enrichment of the people’s horizon, the special role of the book in becoming a true person, starting the perod of existing person. Also passages from the instructive thoughts and proverbs of our great ancestors about the book. During the event, a presentation of books was also held, and their brief content was delivered to participants.
