Marhamat and Asaka districts are attached to Andijan State Medical Institute. Therefore, a number of events are organized in order to meaningfully organize the leisure time of the youth of the district, to reveal their talents, to increase them in the spirit of patriotism. One such event was held at the vocational school No.2 in Marhamat District.
The event was organized by Andijan State Medical Institute in cooperation with the district khokimiyat, the district Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the District Department of Defense. The event was attended by students from the district.
Speaking at the beginning of the competition, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Therapy M.Olmasov said that in the New Development Strategy of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, effective work is being done to attract young people to sports, support them, promote a healthy lifestyle, and various sports events at the institute.
Two teams from the Vocational School No. 2 and teams from the secondary schools № 22, 2, 11, 14 and 32 competed in military sports.
The first task was to disassemble and assemble the firearm. In it, the boys and girls who followed the procedures did the actions quickly. The students who mastered the line-up exercise seemed to show determination. In tug-of-war and relay races, they competed as a team, while in grenade throwing and track and field, the team captains competed.
In intensity and agility, the girls did not lag behind the boys. It was obvious that they were in the military and were committed to the service of the country.
According to the final results, the 1st place was given to the vocational school No. 2, the 2nd place to the team of the comprehensive school No.32, and the 3rd place to the team of the specialized comprehensive school No.22. The winning teams were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts from Andijan State Medical Institute.
