The exhibition of medical literature, organized on the initiative of the ASMI in cooperation with the NGO “Ilm nurli ziyo”, operating in Samarkand, took place for 3 days in the hall of the Academic Council on the topic “Meet! New literature!”
The Information Resources Center of the Institute is being replenished with new literature on the basis of an agreement with the publishing house “GEOTAR-Media” of the Russian Federation. The exhibition was held under the slogan “First of all, do not harm” in the form of online training.
A video seminar was held on the topics “Pediatric Surgery”, “Fight against various types of violence against women”, “Foreign Literature”. The online seminar was attended by deans of all faculties, professors, lecturers of departments, CIR staff and students.
It should be noted that on the basis of an agreement, the institute received 78 titles of new literature in the amount of 125 pieces.
In addition, 70 abstracts were shown prepared by doctoral students, professors, teachers and 14 titles of Russian journals. And also by agreement of the authors, 10 books out of 39 received from the Russian Federation are translated from Russian into Uzbek.
During the book fair, a conversation took place between specialists and students. The participants were satisfied.
