Dear compatriots, dear colleagues, students are my children!
Every year is different. The outgoing year has been difficult for all of us due to the pandemic. But life goes on, the usual joys of life have not left us. In particular, professors, teachers and students of our university took an active part in the fight against a global problem that has captured the whole world – the coronavirus pandemic. For this they were awarded with “MEHR-SAKHOVAT” badges, established according to the Presidential Decree. This award caused great joy and gave us confidence and strength.
I am proud to note the fact that our Andijan State Medical Institute helps families in need and makes it possible for our employees to improve their skills and professionalism.
I am especially pleased with the fact that our students from year to year take pride of place in republican and international Olympiads. A few days ago, a student of our institute Khasanboy Babakhonov took an honorable 1st place in physiology in the international student Olympiad, on the topic “Abu Ali ibn Sino ta’limotidan – uchinchi renessangacha” held at Bukhara State Medical Institute. In addition, the 2nd year student Isaboeva Sevinch took the honorary 2nd place on Anatomy, 9 students of our institute took the honorable 3rd places in various directions. 13 students became winners in the nominations.
In the international Olympiad among medical universities “Samarkand-2020”, the 3rd year student of our institute Diyorakhon Usmonova took the honorable 1st place in surgery. The 5th year student Durdonabegim Zainobiddinova took the honorary 1st place in the international Olympiad organized by Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State Dental Institute among medical universities.
The team of our Institute “Young Volunteers” held events throughout our region to promote the fight against coronavirus.
I believe that our students, girls and boys, will successfully graduate from the institute and will faithfully serve our people.
In the “Year of Science, Education and Development of the Digital Economy,” our institute launched 2nd educational – laboratory building for 880 places. The information technology center of our institute has been completely rebuilt and well-equipped with modern computers. In cooperation with the international German company GIZ the construction of an endourological center located in the clinic of our institute will soon be completed.
All this is the concern and attention of our government and our President personally, aimed at young people! In addition, it is gratifying that the upcoming year 2021 is called the “Year of Supporting Youth and Strengthening Public Health”.
The tests of 2020 made us take a sober look at life and confidently go forward. I hope that great achievements await us in 2021.
