Events dedicated to the birthday of the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf are being celebrated throughout the country. One of such events was organized in the cultural center of the remote village of Gova in Chust district of Namangan region.
Along with poets and writers from Namangan, at the invitation of the residents of Gova village, the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs of ASMI, the poet Mirzohid Botirov also took part in it. More than 100 students, creative and poetic residents of the village of Gova, took part in the event, where opinions and comments were expressed about the life and work of the great poet Muhammad Yusuf, his fiery poems.
The speaker M. Botirov also commented on the poet’s verses, which are an example for Uzbek girls and boys, full of patriotism, devotion and love . He also recited poems by Muhammad Yusuf. In particular, his poems on motherhood shook the hearts of all, even some participants could not hide their tears.
During the event, a poem reading about the life and work of Muhammad Yusuf was held. The leadership of our institute presented books to those who actively participated in it. As long as there is poetry and literature, the nation will be valued as a nation.
