The next meeting of the rector was held in the hall of Scientific Councils. It was attended by the rector of the institute M. Madazimov, vice-rectors, deans of faculties and their deputies, employees of the department and students as well.
First, a summary of the achievements of the past week was given, and a number of students who won in some areas were also encouraged by the institute. A winner of the State Scholarship named after Islam Karimov of the Republic of Uzbekistan for bachelors Feruzabonu Bazarova, a 6th year student of the General Medicine Faculty, a winner of the Ibn Sino State Scholarship Sofiya Mamarasulova, a 5th year student of the Faculty of Dentistry and her supervisors, theatrical team “Shifokorlar”, which won the Cup of khokim of the region in the framework of the “Andijan Youth Forum” were awarded. Abdurauf Abdurashidov, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, won the first place in the medical field at the international scientific-practical competition “The best scientist – 2021” which was held among the CIS countries in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, was awarded a badge and a diploma.At the 2nd All-Russian International Online Olympiad, the team “Followers of Ibn Sino” took the 2nd place, and the team leader was awarded a diploma and certificates. The team of “Young Dentists” won the Student Olympiad on “Pediatric Therapeutic Dentistry and Prevention” held at Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry.During the meeting, the students who achieved success, as well as their leaders and a number of hard working professors and teachers were encouraged.
A number of issues on the agenda were also discussed during the event. Reports on the following topics:“Creation of new literature at the Institute” by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, “Results of the survey among students of the Institute” by the employee of the Department of Education Quality Control, “Preparation for the conference at the Institute” by the Vice-Rector for Researchwere listened. There was an exchange of views on the topics.
At the end of the meeting, the rector of the institute gave suggestions and instructions to the relevant staff on the work to be done in the future.
