Professor, oncologist Mustafa Erman, who visited Andijan State Medical Institute as a part of the Turkish delegation, started his visit to the Andijan branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Oncology and Radiology and the Department of Oncology and Medical Radiology.
During the visit, Professor Mustafa Erman held a lecture on “Lung Cancer” for students of the faculty of Therapy. Besides, he gave lectures on “Modern principles of treatment of lung cancer” for the doctors of the Oncology Center and Masters of the Department of Oncology and clinical residents. The lectures were received with great interest by the audience.
In the second half of the visit, Professor Mustafa Erman visited the Chemotherapy department of the Center and the children’s wards. The condition of patients with complicated diagnostic and treatment processes were discussed with the staff of the Oncology Department and doctors of the center.
The Turkish professor will continue his visit to the department.
