In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Andijan region, professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute provide practical assistance in improving the quality and efficiency of primary health care, disease prevention and healthy lifestyles. In particular, 28 clinical departments of the institute are attached to 76 MCC of the district and together with local doctors take part in the medical examination of the population. As a result of the census, an in-depth medical examination of the population included in groups 3-4 was conducted. A leading working group of the institute, consisting of 14 different specialties, is participating in the competitions. To date, they have provided medical care to more than 3,000 people. In addition, assistance was provided to the population in need of surgery in the district, and high-tech operations were performed on 7 citizens of the district. The examination of professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute continues in all DPMs of Shahrihan district.
