The working group of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine at the National Olympics of Uzbekistan visited Andijan State Medical Institute and a meeting was held between the two institutions on the prospects for further practical cooperation. First, the working group was welcomed by the rector of the institute M.Madazimov and the vice-rector for educational work B.Abdullajonov, and information was provided on the activities of the Simulation Incubation and Acceleration Centers.
For information, it should be said that the purpose of the visit of the Center working group, headed by the General Director of the Republican Center for Sports Medicine Kamolkhon Sirojitdinov, is to study the possibilities of sports medicine in the regions and create RSPCSM branches in different parts of the republic, as conceived by the Minister of Sports Development Adkham Ikramov.
During the meeting, representatives of the Center held a conference with the participation of students, Master-students and clinical residents, and expressed their readiness to provide practical support for the development of sports medicine and the students of the institution to receive a quality education. Deputy Director for Research, Professor Iskandar Mavlyanov told the students in detail about the scientific research conducted at the Center.
After the meeting, the heads of both institutions said that Andijan is a convenient place to open a branch of RSPCSM in the valley, that there is a base of specialists here, and that this is a convenient place for athletes from other parts of the valley to undergo medical examination.
