In the 2020/2021 academic year, 835 students were admitted to the bachelor`s degree program of Andijan State Medical Institute. Among them , 130 were accepted on the basis of state benefits. For a 4% additional benefit aimed at supporting women, it was planned to admit children from low-income families, girls and women with disabilities, orphans and citizens in 6 directions. According to this benefit, 26 girls were accepted to medical institute in state grant. One of these girls is a citizen of Shahidtepa mahalla in the city of Andijan, Muattarkhon Gulomova.
Psychologist of the Institute U. Arzikulov and deputy pro-rector on work with youth M. Kuziboeva visited her and warmly congratulated her on this significant event.
A citizen of the village of Yakkatut, Izboskan district, also became a student of the Pediatric faculty on a state grant.
– Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a doctor. In 2015, after my mother’s death, this desire became my goal, says Zebiniso. – I am proud to be a student of the leading institute. I express my deep gratitude to our President. To justify the trust of my grandmother, grandfather and our President, I promise to study well and become an excellent doctor.
