Education Quality Control Department of Andijan State Medical Institute was established in accordance with paragraph 14 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 18, 2017 No. 515 “On organizing the activities of the state inspection of the quality of education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The department carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”, the National Personnel Training Program, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Orders of the Department of Organization, Licensing and Quality Control of Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as orders and legal instructions of the rector of ASMI, as well the Regulationsof the department of quality control of education.

The department regularly provides information about the work performed, problems and shortcomings to the rector of ASMI and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The main objectives of the department are:

 

– control and quality control of personnel training in ASMI;

– study and analyze students’ performance in mastering subjects and the compliance of their knowledge with state educational standards;

– formation of the teaching staff to ensure the quality of education, including the selection of competent teachers, the creation of transparent organizational mechanisms to improve their professional skills;

-systematic approach and analysis of the quality of teaching by the teaching staff;

-organizing an internal assessment in ASMI and taking measures to eliminate deficiencies based on the results of the internal assessment;

– studying that the educational process at the institute is organized on the basis of the requirements specified in regulatory documents and the effectiveness of using the CHEMIS (including the timeliness of entering information into the information system, the system of credit modules is organized in accordance with the requirements);

– analysis of compliance of students’ qualifications, curricula and training systems with professional standards and labor market requirements;

– formation of detailed conclusions about the position of the institute’s graduates in the labor market, their demand, and the level of viability of the sphere;

– to study whether training at the institute is organized on the basis of modern pedagogical technologies and information technologies, whether the quality of the educational process is controlled;

– to study whether qualified specialists are involved in the implementation (practice) of teaching at the institute;

– determine the effectiveness of measures taken to ensure transparency and impartiality in monitoring and evaluating the education of ASMI students;

– study the training of professors and teachers of ASMI, the inclusion of innovations in science programs;

– analysis of the fair distribution of teaching load between professors and teachers of departments;

– control the state of the conditions created for students and teachers in the ASMI information and resource center, the availability of subject textbooks, the conditions created for students, making proposals to management;

– study and analysis of the organization of students in the field of independent learning (development of methodological guidelines or technical instructions, establishing requirements for the organization of independent learning and ensuring the formation of students’ study load);

– ensuring the implementation of programs to combat plagiarism at ASMI (including the introduction of the principles of academic integrity and the systematic organization of combating plagiarism);

– providing information and proposals at the ASMI Council, round tables and conferences on the results of monitoring and work carried out by the department to improve the quality of education;

– participation in studying the activities of other higher educational institutions in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The employees of the Education Quality Control Department have improved their qualifications in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
