Today, in order to further improve the scientific and practical activities among students of the Faculty of Dentistry and to identify talented students, there was heldthe Institute-wide student Olympiad on “Aesthetic Restoration of Teeth – 2021”.
Rector of the Institute M. Madazimov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs B. Abdullajonov, Chief Dentist of the Department of Health, Chief Physician of the Regional Dental Clinic R. Usmanov, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry D. Tulanov, Head of the Department of Hospital and Clinical Dentistry R. Raimjanov attended the opening ceremonyand wish good luck to the participants. Students were told about the achievements in the field of dentistry, the role of talented students and young people in them.
The first stage of the Olympiad was held at the Incubation and Acceleration Center, which was attended by 39 students. 10 students who successfully passed the test advanced to the second stage.
The second stage of the Olympiad was held in the simulation center, where participants practiced the practical restoration of teeth on special phantoms and dummies.
3 students who successfully participated in all stages of the Olympiad were announced as winners. Accordingly, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Dentistry SherkhonDodakhonov took the 1st place, a 5th year student KodiraliAbdurahimov took the 2nd place, and ShohruhYakubjanov took the 3rd place. The winners were awarded with special diplomas and souvenirs.
