Dear friends, I congratulate all of you on the Eid al-Adha, which embodies our ancient traditions and values, such as generosity, kindness, humanity!
Life is not only full of joy and happiness, but also has its unexpected trials. We can overcome any trial with our unity and solidarity, with confidence in the future!
The coronavirus pandemic has further strengthened our will, strengthened our unity. Our people demonstrated one more time that they are able to overcome any difficulty in unity.
We have always celebrated Eid al-Adha with great solemnity and joy. Events full of kindness and generosity were rewarded with good deeds. But today, it is because of the coronavirus that it is not possible to perform these celebrations as before.
It is no coincidence that the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the celebration of Eid al-Adha” rightly stipulates that this year Eid al-Adha must be celebrated according to the quarantine requirements. This decision was made in support of the good intentions and aspirations of our people, as well as the security of health, peace, present and future of our citizens.
Following today’s requirements is a guarantee of getting rid of the coronavirus plague. During the holidays, we must strictly adhere to the established requirements for the health of ourselves and our people. The joy among family, the respect for the elderly from a distance can not be limited. Moreover, let’s encourage and support each other in the current situation!
May our people always be healthy!
