In order to raise our young people in the spirit of healthy faith, to pay special attention to their education along with their upbringing, a roundtable discussion on the topic “Enlightenment against ignorance” was held at Andijan State Medical Institute.
It was attended by the deputy khokim of the region Rakhmatillo Arziyev, the deputy chief imam of the region Mukhamadsadiq domla Muminov, the senior teacher of Andijan State University Yusufkhan Jakhongirov, the vice-rector for academic affairs of Andijan State Medical Institute Bahrom Abdullajonov.
Those who spoke at the event spoke about the wide promotion of the ideas of religious tolerance and inter-ethnic harmony among young people, education in the spirit of secularism and patriotism, the cases of unknowingly joining different currents among young people today, inter-religious mutual trust, gave information and insights on mutual respect, equal rights, peace and harmony between people of different religions, effective use of opportunities given to young people, meaningful spending of free time.
Also, students’ opinions on the topic were studied, and detailed answers were given to their questions.
