At present, the birthday of Zulfiyakhanum is being celebrated with great solemnity in all parts of the country. Various events, competitions and roundtables are organized in educational institutions.
A meeting was held at the Presidential School in Andijan with Mehrinoz Kamilova, winner of the Zulfiya State Prize and holder of Master’s degree of Andijan State Medical Institute. It was attended by the chairman of the Women’s Advisory Board of the Institute Gulhayo Kholmatova and schoolchildren.
During the roundtable discussion, the life and work of Zulfiya Israilova, the melody of her poems, devotion and kindness, the attention and care given to women today, the active girls who achieved success in their fields are awarded the prizes named after Zulfiya Israilova. The participants were informed about the state awards and achievements of Mehrinoz. The students recited poems by Zulfiya.
